In this IFAC Gateway Roundtable Series, members of the IFAC Small and Medium Practices Committee discuss the challenges of attracting new clients, creating new services, and adapting to technological change – most importantly, how the data in the IFAC Global SMP Survey can help shed light on these issues.

Part I:  Clients and Competition

In part one of this roundtable, the IFAC Global SMP Survey and its results are briefly introduced and discussed. The panel addresses questions around how SMPs can attract new clients and respond to the challenges of competition.

Part II: Advisory and Consulting Services

In part two of this roundtable, the panel discusses what new and existing advisory and consulting services SMPs should consider providing. In addition, they discuss the factors that SMPs should think through before establishing such services.

Part III: SMPs Must Adapt to Rapid Technological Change

In part three of this roundtable, the panel discusses the opportunities presented by technological change and how SMPs can adapt to challenges in the future.
