The Role of Tax in Fighting Corruption and Promoting Sustainable Development
Date:
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM CEST | 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM EDT
The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) have partnered again to examine “Public Trust in Tax” and explore how attitudes and perception of tax policies differ amongst the public.
For this year's edition, we have returned to the G20 with our fourth biennial survey. Building on feedback from previous surveys, we are focusing on two new themes—the connection between trust in tax and corruption, and views on the role of tax in sustainable development.
In collaboration with the OECD, we will convene global experts, thought leaders and practitioners from around the globe for our launch event, Building Trust in Tax for a Sustainable Future: The Role of Tax in Fighting Corruption and Promoting Sustainable Development.
Join our experts as they:
- Discuss the main findings of “Public Trust in Tax: Surveying Public Trust in G20 Tax Systems 2023"
- Address pressing issues that impact public trust in tax systems, and
- Explore the evolving landscape of taxation and its pivotal role in building a more sustainable and ethical society.
