João Ferreira da Silva

João Ferreira da Silva, appointed in April 2021 as Idésio Coelho technical advisor at IFAC Board by Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC Brazil) in a special straight collaboration with Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC Portugal).

Law degree, master and three post graduations on tax at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, with studies at Umea University, Sweden, working as OCC technical advisor on international affairs and the institute internal structure organization.

Internationally with work done has OCC representative at the European Federation of Accountants (EFAA), Mediterranean Federation of Auditors and Accountants (FCM), União dos Contabilistas Certificados e Auditores de Língua Portuguesa (UCALP), Edinburgh Group (EdG) and Latin American and European Federation of Accoutants (CILEA).

Responsible for the Work Bank sponsored Technical Assistance and Training project to Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados e Auditores de São Tomé e Princípe (OTOCA). I also work within the Financial Action Task Force (FATF – GAFI). Three written books about international taxation and multiple technical and political articles on national and international publications.
