The IFAC Nominating Committee is searching for top talent to fill available vacancies on the international audit & assurance, ethics and public sector accounting boards. Volunteers are the greatest asset we have. Today, there are over 137 volunteers serving on the standard-setting boards and contributing to and advancing the global profession.

Each year, about 15% of volunteers finish their service. The IFAC Nominating Committee fills these positions with people with a wide range of backgrounds, including but not limited to regulators, public and private sector employees, investors, and professionals in the accountancy and legal professions, as well as academics.

We created the video below to promote nominations by asking current leaders to describe the type of talent needed. The video also promotes diversity—gender, geographic, age, and profession—which is an important objective for nominations as it ensures equality and greater participation and perspectives.

We encourage you to watch the video and help us spread the word!

Feel free to also review Calls for Nominations for each of the standard-setting boards for additional information and nomination instructions. The deadline for submitting nominations is January 31, 2020.
