Valdir Coscodai

Valdir Coscodai is president of Ibracon – Instituto de Auditoria Independente do Brasil (Management 2021/2023). He is a partner of the PwC, and has more than 35 years of experience in the independent audit activities, of which 26 years have been dedicated to acting on Boards, Committees and Working Groups set up by entities linked to the profession and by regulatory bodies in Brazil. He is currently also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fundação de Apoio ao Comitê de Pronunciamentos Contábeis (FACPC). Internationally, he was a member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), an independent body linked to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), for six years. In the last administration of Ibracon (Management 2018/2020), Valdir Coscodai was Technical Director.
