Charles is a Partner and the Chief Strategy Officer for Deloitte East Africa. In this role, he is responsible for driving the firm-wide strategy and creating a distinctive client service offering across the firm while enhancing Deloitte's brand in the market. He also leads the Financial Services Institutions Team for East Africa, serving clients across Assurance and Advisory work.

Over the years, Charles has taken up assignments in East Africa, Southern Africa, and the United Kingdom. He has built a wealth of audit and accounting experience within the banking and financial services, manufacturing, agriculture, and retail industries, as well as extensive assurance experience in IFRS, credit risk management, and sustainability reporting.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), where he conducts regular trainings on the subject matter of IFRS to members.

Amy Groves is a Managing Director at Deloitte & Touche LLP. She currently works for both the US and Global firms, with a focus on the interpretation, implementation and execution of international and US-issued audit and assurance professional standards in Deloitte's methodology. Ms. Groves has over 18 years of experience in auditing public and private clients, including extensive experience working with engagement teams in all industries from all over the world.

Ms. Groves is a Certified Public Accountant (California, Connecticut) and is a member of the AICPA. She holds a Bachelors of Sciences in Accounting from the University of Southern California.

Anas Abouelmikias joined the IFAC PAO Development & Advisory Group in January 2024, nominated by Ordre des Experts Comptables du Royaume du Maroc (OECM).

Mr. Abouelmikias is the President & Founder of the audit firm FINACS, which audits a wide range of companies of different sizes and sectors. He began his career working for Big Four audit firms. He is presently a member of the International Relations Committee of OECM. He is also a former Senior Financial Management Specialist at the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He is currently a consultant for international donors, focusing on public financial management and fiduciary matters in the Middle East and Africa, and an independent reviewing for the INTOSAI Development Initiative

Mr. Abouelmikias holds a master's degree in finance from ISCAE Casablanca and a French CPA degree.
